DMCA Policy

We take copyright seriously. Here is how to report copyrighted content and how we handle DMCA notices.

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This DMCA Policy explains how FastInstaDL (“we”, “us”) responds to copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and similar laws. We respect the intellectual property of others and expect our users to do the same.

1 Overview

FastInstaDL is an online tool that downloads publicly available content, such as Instagram videos, Reels and photos, at the request of users. We do not host, publish or store the content that passes through the tool.

Because we act only as a conduit that fetches content already publicly available on third-party platforms, we do not control what users choose to download. However, we are committed to responding promptly to valid copyright complaints.

2 How we handle content

We encourage everyone to respect creators and to download content only when they have permission. Content shared or distributed without authorization may violate copyright law, regardless of the tool used to obtain it.

Responsibility: it is the user’s responsibility to ensure they have the right to download and use any content they obtain through FastInstaDL.

3 Filing a DMCA notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been made available through FastInstaDL in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to us.

To make the process as fast as possible, please provide the following information:

  1. Your full legal name and a physical or electronic signature.
  2. A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL or link where the infringing material can be found.
  4. Your contact information, including email address and phone number.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

4 Notice requirements

To be valid, your notice must be a written communication sent to our designated contact. Incomplete or improperly formatted notices may not be processed.

Please note that submitting a false DMCA notice can result in liability for damages under the DMCA. Only submit a notice if you genuinely believe your rights have been infringed.

Before filing: consider whether the content is being used under fair use or another exception. If you are not sure, you may wish to consult an attorney.

5 Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed (or access was disabled) as a result of a mistaken DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification. To be effective, it must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, phone number and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will review it and take appropriate action as required by law.

6 Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we may terminate the access of users who repeatedly submit infringing material or misuse the service to violate copyright.
